Slice and chop the vegetables to be stir fried.

On a wok or large frying pan, add one tablespoon of oil and allow to heat on high.

Add the ginger and garlic and stir.

Quickly add the beef and the salt and stir until beef is no longer pink. Set aside on a plate.

Add the remaining table spoon of oil. Add the chopped asparagus, turnip, snow peas and pepper. Stir and cover for 3 minutes while still cooking on high.

Uncover and stir the vegetables.

Add the beef back in and the soy sauce. Stir uncovered for one to two more minutes.

Serve over plain rice.
