  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 cup of drained and cooked artichoke hearts
  • 6 garlic cloves approx. 1 table spoon crushed
  • 2 teaspoons of salt - one for the pasta and one for the seafood
  • 16-20 oz. of marinara sauce or pasta sauce of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  2. Julienne the bell pepper and chop the onion.
  3. Clean and cut the seafood - use link to short video above to learn how to prepare the baby octopus for cooking.
  4. In a big frying pan or sauce pan, add the oil and allow it to warm up on medium high.
  5. Add the garlic and the onions. Stir.
  6. When the onions become transparent, add the seafood. Stir.
  7. Meanwhile, fill a big sauce pan with 2/3 of hot water and place on the stove on high.
  8. Go back to the seafood, stirring once more. Add one teaspoon of salt and stir.
  9. Add the pasta sauce, the bell peppers and the artichoke hearts.
  10. Allow to simmer on medium fire, covered.
  11. Check the hot water for the pasta and add the pasta and one teaspoon of salt once it starts boiling.
  12. Set a timer for however long your pasta takes to cook. Usually 8-10 minutes.
  13. When timer goes off, drain your pasta and add cold running water to stop it from sticking and overcooking.
