Cooking the perfect turkey. Third time’s a charm!

Cooking the perfect turkey. Third time’s a charm!

This is the third year I try cooking the perfect turkey.  I finally found a recipe that does the trick. Today's bird came out juicy and flavorful! I was a proud host. I used vinegar instead of lemon juice and oregano instead of rosemary and still came out great. I also used whole garlic cloves in the stuffing and seasoned the turkey the night before. Both the bird and the fridge had a wonderful herbal fragrance. Enjoy your holidays! Cooking the perfect turkey. See more Food bites.

How to clean a microwave with no chemicals

How to clean a microwave with no chemicals

I found this really useful: How to Clean a Microwave - wikiHow Fill a microwave safe glass or bowl half way with water with a tablespoon of white vinegar and place inside the microwave. Turn on for 5 minutes. The idea here is to steam up the walls of the microwave and loosen the dried-on gunk. When it is done, remove the glass container and wipe down the inside of microwave with a clean towel or paper towel. The loose gunk should come off easily now, and without chemical cleaners inside the microwave. Take out the glass tray or turntable…

End all wars: Poem to America

End all wars: Poem to America

A war free from government: arms trafficking, arms manufacturing, abusing power and position. No, you're not America if you use your toys to enrich your friends, driving up their stock. You're not America to use your money put your soldiers unprepared, at harm's way. I want my money to go to education and health care. End it! End the insanity that tells anyone anything good comes out of violence, and the conflicts in the Middle East. End the petty wars and the seemingly necessary ones too. Use your energy on something constructive. Show me you can function in peace. Show me you have…
